- We collect only what the service needs: your name, phone number and password (stored only in scrambled form), the home location you choose, your pickup requests and subscription, and, for drivers, the truck's location during a trip, their service areas and their plan and payment records.
- A driver sees the names and home positions of their own subscribers and of residents who ask to subscribe to them, never phone numbers. Other drivers see nothing about you.
- We do not sell your information, show ads, or use analytics or tracking tools.
- You can delete your account yourself in the app (Settings → Your account), or ask us to correct or delete your information.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the كابسة apps (the resident app "كابسة", the driver app "سائق الكابسة" and the operator's admin app) and this website. They are operated by Today Company ("we", "us"), Baghdad, Iraq. You can reach us at sales@kabiisa.com, or by phone or WhatsApp on 07710219891 or 07839800140.
2. Information we collect
Everyone with an account
- Name and Iraqi mobile number, which you give when you register. Your phone number is your login name. We do not send SMS messages to it.
- Password. It is stored by our sign-in provider (Supabase Auth) only in a scrambled (hashed) form. Nobody can see it, including us.
- Account role and status (resident, driver, or driver awaiting approval; enabled or disabled).
Residents
- Your home location and alert distance (your zone, 50 m to 5 km), which you set on the map. Your phone's GPS is read only at the moment you tap "Use my current location" while choosing your home. The app does not track where your phone goes.
- Pickup requests: when you asked, whether the alarm was sent, whether your driver sent "🚛 جايك" (on my way), and when the truck reached your home.
- Your subscription to a driver: the driver, the status (waiting, accepted, rejected or paused), the request number, and the position of your home at the time you asked.
- A device token from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, so your phone can receive the truck alarm and other notices. It is removed when you sign out.
- Phone checks. To make sure the alarm can ring, the app checks your phone's settings (for example whether notifications are on and whether Google Play services are present). These checks happen only on your phone; the results are not uploaded.
Drivers
- Vehicle (plate) number you give when you register, and the truck name.
- The truck's live location (position, accuracy and time), sent about every 5 seconds, only while a trip is running. Location is not collected outside a trip. Only the latest position is kept; the road pieces used to draw the route are deleted when the trip ends. The start and end times of your trips are kept.
- The service areas you draw on the map.
- Your subscribers and their requests, including the residents' names and home positions, and your decisions to accept, reject, pause or resume them.
- Your plan records (see below).
Driver plans and payment records
A driver can drive only while they have a plan: a one-month free trial (once), or an annual subscription paid in cash to us. For each plan we record the type (trial or annual), the start and end dates, which supervisor granted it, and a copy of the driver's name and phone number. These records are our record of payments, so they are kept even after the driver's account is deleted (section 6).
Technical information
- IP address and phone number of account-creation attempts, used only to block abuse (too many attempts). These records are kept briefly and cleared by later attempts, after about one hour.
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
- Map requests. To draw the map, your phone downloads map images from OpenFreeMap, which therefore receives your IP address and the area being shown.
Stored only on your phone
Your login session, the "Keep me signed in" choice, and the last map position, so the map opens where you left it.
3. How we use it
- To show trucks that are on duty on the map, and to alert residents when their own driver's truck enters their zone. Alarms and pickups work only for residents whose subscription a driver has accepted, and only from that driver's truck.
- To pass subscription requests, pickup requests and "🚛 جايك" notices between residents and their driver.
- To create and protect accounts, approve drivers, manage driver plans and record their payments.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about you. A driver's access ends automatically when their plan runs out (an annual plan has a 3-day grace period); this follows the dates recorded by the supervisor.
4. Who can see your information
- Residents see the trucks that are on duty on the map, and the name of the driver who accepted their subscription.
- Drivers see the names and home positions of their own subscribers and of residents who ask to subscribe to them, with a request number, above the homes on their map and in their list. They never see residents' phone numbers. Other drivers see nothing about you.
- Our supervisors, in the admin app, see drivers' details (name, phone number, vehicle number), their plans and payment history, how many subscribers each has, and when each last drove or sent a location. The admin app shows no map and no residents. Supervisors can also reset a driver's password on request.
- Service providers that run parts of the service for us (section 5).
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
We never sell or rent your information.
5. Service providers
- Supabase: hosts our database, sign-in and server functions. Servers in the eu-central-1 region (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google Play services): delivers the truck alarm and other notices to residents' phones.
- OpenFreeMap: provides the map images.
- OSRM public demo server (router.project-osrm.org): receives the truck's recent positions, without any name or phone number, to fit the truck's route to the roads.
These providers process data outside Iraq. Each is bound by its own privacy and security commitments.
6. How long we keep it
| Information | Kept |
|---|---|
| Account (name, phone number, hashed password, role; vehicle number for drivers) | Until your account is deleted |
| Home location and alert distance | Until you change it or your account is deleted |
| Pickup requests | Until your next request replaces it, you cancel it, you change your home zone, or your account is deleted. A request stops being open after 24 hours, but is not deleted then. |
| Subscriptions (status, request number, home position at request time) | While your account exists |
| Truck location | Only the latest position is stored. The road pieces used for the map are deleted when the trip ends. |
| Trip times and service areas | Until the driver's account is deleted |
| Driver plan and payment records (type, dates, who granted it, copy of the driver's name and phone) | Kept as our payment record, also after the driver's account is deleted |
| Device token for alarms | Until you sign out, or Google reports it is no longer valid |
| Account-creation attempt records (IP address, phone number) | About one hour; cleared by later attempts |
7. Your choices and rights
- Change your name, phone number or password in the app: Settings → Your account.
- Delete your account in the app: Settings → Your account. This deletes your account and the information linked to it (home zone, pickup requests, subscriptions, device token and, for drivers, the truck, its locations, trips and service areas). The one exception is a driver's plan and payment records, which we keep as our payment record (section 6).
- Move or switch off your home zone, or take back a pickup request, in the app.
- Turn notifications or location access off in your phone's settings. Some features, such as the truck alarm, will then stop working.
- Signing out removes your device token, so alarms stop on that phone.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account, using the contact details in section 1. We will reply within 30 days.
8. Security
All data travels over encrypted connections. Each account can reach only its own data and what section 4 describes. Passwords are never stored in readable form, and the truck's location is never shared outside a trip. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will act quickly if a problem occurs.
9. Children
The service is meant for adults managing their household's waste collection. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. This website
This website uses no cookies, advertising or analytics. It remembers your language choice only in your own browser. Our web host may keep standard access logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
12. Contact
Questions or requests: sales@kabiisa.com, or by phone or WhatsApp on 07710219891 or 07839800140, Baghdad, Iraq.
